🚨 BINANCE HACK UPDATE #31 🚨
Binance has deployed 7,499 BTC from its SAFU emergency fund to help cover the $6.3B hack, cutting the fund Bitcoin balance roughly in half.
The SAFU Bitcoin wallet now holds about 7,500 BTC, worth around $583M, down from about 15,000 BTC before the transfer.
Binance confirmed the transfer on Saturday, linked to replacing assets taken in the Oct 29 breach.
SAFU policy sets no timeline for refilling funds drawn after a hack — it only promises rebalancing to $1B if value falls below $800M on price moves.
Next withdrawal phase is still planned for Tuesday Nov 3, with a wider reserve snapshot on Nov 4.
